Brahmastra Agni-Astra | VFX Recreation

A VFX recreation inspired by the Agni-Astra sequence from Brahmastra, focusing on fire FX creation, compositing, and seamless integration with live-action footage.

Project Overview

This project is a visual effects study created to recreate the look and energy of the Agni-Astra fire sequence from Brahmastra.
The goal was to achieve believable fire behaviour, realistic lighting interaction, and a cinematic composite that blends naturally with the live-action plate.

My Contribution

  • Fire FX simulation and look development

  • Rotoscoping and clean-up

  • CG lighting and rendering

  • Compositing and integration

  • Green screen Keying / motion blur

  • Final colour correction and polish

  • Blender for Fire simulation and rendering 

  • Maya for layout, lighting and rendering

  • Nuke 

  • Silhouette

  • Photoshop

This project was created as a Student specialism project to strengthen skills in fire simulation ( which I attemped for the first time ), compositing, and cinematic visual storytelling.
